Lesson 4 Today’s New Part 4の目標は、「題材に関してコメントをすることができる」となっていました。
そこで、「ベトナムのお祭りに関する動画ニュースについて、視聴者がコメント欄に書き込んだ感想に続けて、川湯神社祭について書き込もう」という課題を設定しました。
教科書本文中に出てくる表現を上手く活用して、3人の生徒が力を合わせ、こんな説明を作りました。
Kawayu Shrine Festival is held at the end of August. Many children play Sumo.
It’s the one of the most important events in Kawayu.
But this year, it was raind out because of a typhoon.
教科書にあった is held, at the start of every new year, one of the most important holidays を上手く利用し、このHPで紹介した表現rained out も使ってくれました。
また、教科書にあった Children’s Day の説明を参考にして、ひな祭りについて次のような説明を作りました。
The Doll festival is a special day of girls. It’s on March 3rd. A family with young girls display Hina Dolls for their happiness.
そこで、先生は花見についてこんなふうに作ったら笑われてしまいました。
Cherry blossom viewing is ne of the most important annual events in Japan. From March to April, we enjoy cherry blossom across Japan. We put mats under the cherry blossoms in parks to hold outdoor drinking parties. It is a fun spring event.
そして、最後に “only for adults” と付け足されてしまいました。
４技能のうち、「読む」から「話す」「書く」への統合ができた授業でした。さすが3年生！
